VENTANA+BARRIOS DE LUNA+ARALLA 22/06/2019

Para inagurar el verano, planeamos una ruta de paisajes visitando la provincia limítrofe.

For the Summer opening ride, we planned a scenic route visiting the bordering province.

Primero, tenemos que cruzar el magnífico puerto de Ventana.

First, we have to cross the magnificent Ventana mountain pass

Sus estrechas gargantas rocosas son muy agradables para el motociclismo.

Its narrow rocky gorges are very nice for motorcycling.

Navegamos por las carreteras de León ahora. Esos enormes picos marcan la frontera entre las dos provincias.

We navigate León's roads now. Those massive peaks mark the border between provinces.

Poco después bordeamos el embalse de Barrios de Luna.

Shortly after we were bordering the Barrios de Luna reservoir

El paisaje aquí es precioso.

The scenery here is gorgeous.

 Alejandra encontró el lugar perfecto para comer.

Alejandra found the perfect spot to have our meal.

Tan agradable fue que Slow decidió tomar una breve siesta mientras tomaba el sol.

So nice it was that Slow decided to have a brief nap while sunbathing.

 La temperatura es perfecta, así que incluso fuimos a dar un paseo por la presa.

The temperature is just perfect so we even went for a stroll over the dam.

 Para poner la cereza en el pastel, tomamos el paso de montaña de Aralla para volver a casa.

To put the cherry on the cake we took Aralla mountain pass to come back home.

Estaba en su mejor momento. Flores por todas partes y un aroma encantador en el aire que solo los motociclistas disfrutan al máximo.

It was at its best. Flowers everywhere and a lovely aroma in the air that only motorcyclists enjoy to the fullest.

Un gran paseo que seguramente repetiremos en el futuro.

A great ride out that we will surely repeat in the future.

CASIELLES. 23 CURVAS AL CIELO. 02/06/2019 CASIELLES. 23 HARPINS TO HEAVEN

Hace algún tiempo publiqué sobre este lugar, pero en ese momento solo escribía en español y, por lo tanto, es posible que mis amigos de habla inglesa no lo conozcan. Déjame decirte dónde está la mejor y más exigente carretera de Asturias. Para llegar allí, por supuesto, tomamos un largo rodeo. Primero, parada en el mirador de El Fito.

Some time ago I posted about this place, but at that time I only wrote in Spanish and therefore my English speaking friends might not know about it. So let me tell you where the best and most demanding road in Asturias is.

To get there, of course, we took a long detour. First, we pulled out at El Fito lookout.

A continuación, y para hacer las cosas aún mejor, pasamos por Argolibio otra hermosa carretera que vale la pena visitar.

Next, and to make things even better, we passed trough Argolibio another beautiful road worth a visit.

Justo antes de comenzar la subida, un breve café junto a la carretera.

Just before starting climbing a brief coffee by the roadside.

Y allí nos fuimos ... Sé que el video es demasiado largo, pero no hay mejor manera de mostrarte lo impresionante que es.
