La ruta de hoy nos llevará a nuestra provincia vecina, Cantabria. Pero primero, nos reunimos con nuestro buen amigo Chusín en El Fito. Una mañana brumosa de verano es algo que siempre disfruto.
Today's route will take us to our neighbouring province, Cantabria. But first, we met with our good friend Chusín at El Fito. A misty summer morning is something I always enjoy while riding.
Soon the sun reappears offering us magnificent views.

We cross valleys and gorges in glorious succession which reminds me of the blessings of living in this corner of the world.
Since discovering this ice cream shop a few years ago, stopping here has become a tradition. Cheese flavoured Ice cream, yum yum...
Chusin came loaded with gifts. A really useful book and this lovely sticker from his own Youtube Chanel that I invite you to visit. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmqV0eMIaM9XBXl9tCIJ0DQ
And now for the cultural visit. Riocorvo a small and beautiful village with some interesting buildings.
The village is arranged along the old 'Camino Real' that connected the coast with the village of 'Reinosa' in the interior.
We first encounter the 'Casona del Licenciado Antonio Bustamante' a wealthy and prominent inhabitant.
San José chapel.
Another interesting one is the 'Casona de los Vélez' built around a lovely patio.
Armorial of the 'Alonso de Caballero' palace.
Algunas gotas de lluvia nos dicen que es hora de volver a casa. Ha sido un fantástico día ;)
A few drops of rain tell us it is time to come back home. It has been a fantastic day out ;)
