El Moto Club Indianos, organizador del famoso Rally de Motos Clásicas de Colombres, a creado un Nuevo evento llamado Rally del Norte de España. Este tiene lugar la semana anterior y está programado para que usted pueda asistir a ambos eventos consecutivamente o escoger el que más le guste.
Moto Club Indianos, the organizer of the famous Colombres International Meeting of Classic Motorcycles, has created a new event called North of Spain Rally.This one takes place the week before and is scheduled in such way that you will be able to combine both events in a row, or you may choose the one you like more.
La idea es ofrecer algo completamente nuevo a nuestros participantes, muchos de los cuales son habituales de nuestro Rally tradicional en Picos de Europa, por tanto el Rally del Norte tiene lugar en el oeste de Asturias. Un área de extraordinaria belleza en la cual se encuentra la Reserva de la Biosfera de Muniellos calificada por la UNESCO con el más alto nivel de protección. Un paraíso con el bosque de robles más grande de Europa.
The idea is to offer something completely new to our attendees, many of whom are regular to our traditional Rally in Picos de Europa. Therefore the North of Spain Rally takes place in the western part of the province. An area of extraordinary beauty in which is located the Biosphere Reserve of Muniellos levelled by UNESCO with the highest level of protection. A paradise with the biggest Oak Forest in Europe.
El primer día los participantes se reunen en Colombres para registrarse y preparar la moto para la mañana siguiente. Como siempre existe una furgoneta de asistencia siguiendo al grupo y el equipaje será transportado al hotel de destino por la furgoneta de la organización. Este Rally está abierto a motos anteriores a 1988 cuestión esta de la maxima importancia para mantener la atmosfera clásica de nuestro Rally tradicional.
Las rutas tienen rutómetro y además se ponen flechas en los cruces en las que apoyarnos en caso de necesidad.

El equipo prepara diariamente una parada para comer en la que se sirven todo tipo de aperitivos.. Jamón, chorizos, pollo, tortilla española, queso azúl, pan fresco y bebidas para satisfacer todos los gustos.
The team have a lunch stop every day which serves traditional Spanish food, ham off the bones, blue cheese from the region, cooked meats including Chicken, Pork, Chorizo, Spanish Sausage, Spanish Tortilla and fresh baguettes to fill with whatever food is appealing to you.

Una vez en nuestro destino nos alojaremos en un hotel de primera clase durante los próximos días. En la mañana y la noche dispondremos del comedor del hotel con mesas corridas en las que podremos desayunar o cenar con alguien diferente cada día. Este año se ha demostrado como una forma ideal para socializar y hacer nuevos amigos.
Once in our destination, we will be based in a top class hotel for the next few days. In the evenings we will have long tables and we will be able to seat by someone different every night. This year has proved that it is an excellent way of socialising and making new friends. Even the Beer was cheap!

Han habido muchas oportunidades para hablar de motos, discutir las modificaciones y aprender algo nuevo mientras disfrutamos del paisaje con las paradas habituales para descansar y saciar la sed en algún bar del camino.
Here and there were ample opportunities to chat and discuss bike modifications, admire other people bikes and enjoy the scenery with the obligatory coffee stops every 50 miles to relieve the pressure of the bike seat and to quench thirst by sampling the Coffee Con Leche. They aim for your rally to be trouble free and so provide a breakdown vehicle, tools and all the help they can. Their goal is that you do not worry about anything but enjoying your motorcycle experience.
La última noche celebraron una entrega de premios y nos fuimos a dormir pensando en nuestro regreso a Colombres el día siguiente. Muchos participaremos también en el tradicional Rally en Picos de Europa.
