On Sunday we had an even better weather so we couldn't miss the opportunity and we set off towards León.
We stopped at "Buen Suceso" to have lunch and then we continued towards our destination.
Now we are about to cross the gate through the Roman wall and begin our stroll into history.
The city was founded in the first Century by the Roman Legion Legio VI Victrix which served under Cesar Augustus.
All the city is full of history and you definitely should visit it. This is not the place to give history lessons instead I will show you some of its architectural treasures.
Gaudi's Casa de los Botines.
And its impressive Cathedral also called The House of Light or Pluchra Leonina.
The former City Hall.
It was a perfect way to get the most out of a weekend.
