CIUDAD DE LEÓN 17/06/2018 CITY OF LEÓN

El domingo tuvimos incluso mejor día, así que no podíamos perder la oportunidad y nos dirigimos a León.

On Sunday we had an even better weather so we couldn't miss the opportunity and we set off towards León.

Paramos en el Buen Suceso para comer y continuamos hacia nuestro destino.

We stopped at "Buen Suceso" to have lunch and then we continued towards our destination.

Ahora estamos a punto de cruzar la puerta de la muralla romana y comenzar nuestro paseo por la historia.

Now we are about to cross the gate through the Roman wall and begin our stroll into history.

La ciudad fue fundada en el siglo primero por la Legión Romana Legio VI Victrix que sirvió bajo el mando de César Augusto.

The city was founded in the first Century by the Roman Legion Legio VI Victrix which served under Cesar Augustus.

Toda la ciudad está llena de historia y deberías visitarla. Este no es el lugar para dar lecciones de historia, en lugar de eso te mostraré alguno de sus tesoros arquitectónicos.

All the city is full of history and you definitely should visit it. This is not the place to give history lessons instead I will show you some of its architectural treasures.
