Hace unos años tuvimos que abortar un intento de llegar a La Coba por Grandas de Salime y ya era hora de volverlo a intentar. Nos reunimos con nuestros amigos Enrique, Tere, César y Daniel.
A few years ago, we had to abort an attempt to get to La Coba through Grandas de Salime and it was time to give it a try again. We gather with our friends Enrique, Tere, César y Daniel.
Después de haber recorrido un buen número de kilómetros paramos en Grandas para comer.
After a bunch kilometres, we stopped for lunch at Grandas
Y después logramos llegar a La Coba sin novedad.
And afterwards we succeeded in reaching La Coba in safety
Es un pueblo escondido que tiene para mi especial importancia puesto que es el lugar de nacimiento de mi madre.
This a very secluded village which is very special for me because it is my mum's place of birth
La casa de su familia aún sigue allí.
Her's family house is still there
Bajamos a visitar el viejo molino.
We went down to visit the old water mill
Y pasamos un buen rato junto al río.
And we spent a long time beside the river
Después nos fuimos a San Martín de Oscos para un buen café
Then we left for San Martin de Oscos for a nice cup of coffee
Y para completar el día nos fuimos a Argul para mostrárselo a César y Daniel.
And, to complete de day, we went to Argul to show César and Daniel the place
Lo pasamos genial comiendo moras como solíamos hacer de niños.
We had a good time eating blackberries as we used to do when we were child
Es uno de mis pueblos favoritos del occidente astur
This is one of my personal favourites villages in the west part of the province
Y terminamos un largo e interesante día muy contentos de haber coseguido nuestro objetivo y haberlo compartido con tan buena compañía.
And we finished a long and interesting day very happy having accomplished our plan and having shared this little adventure with such a great companionship
