Una vez más la predicción meteorológica jugaría un papel determinante para decidir hacia dónde nos dirigiríamos. Esta vez lo mejor sería ir al oeste y eso hicimos. Fue la decisión correcta.
Once again, the forecast would play a decisive role in the decision-making process when it comes to deciding where to go. This time we would be better off heading westwards so that we did and it was the clever choice in the end.
Our destination was the beautiful village of San Ciprián. A small, very touristic coastal place.
By the time we got there it was time to have lunch and what better than this lovely lookout.
We left the bike by the lighthouse and went for a nice stroll.
There are two white sand beaches separated by a narrow road where you can admire a mermaid and a mine, what a strange combination.
Afterwards, we headed to another landmark. The medieval bridge. As usual, they call it the Roman Bridge.
There is also a Naval Museum, but sadly, they don't allow dogs in so we refused to enter.
Sightseen done, it is time to go back home. But we pull over at Figueras to visit the San Román chapel where you can capture a good photo of Castropol.
400 km of riding and visiting new places... What else do you need?
