When something stops us one day, there is always another day.. Today we are going to accomplish the route that César wanted to do the last time.
The first place in our list is Abelgas de Luna, a secluded village at the end of a cracking road
Afterwards, time for lunch
And again on the road
Sagüera de Luna es la siguiente visita.
Sagüera de Luna is the next visit
We are far away from the sea but here you have some fossils
And again, time to smash the throttle
A nice cup of coffee is always a good idea, we had it at Barrios de Luna dam
Tapia de Ribera has its own Medieval Tower (XIV Century) It was built by the Osorios family.
Definitely, it had military purposes
Fron there we went to another tower. The Ordas Tower which also was built in the XIV Century
It was built by Don Pedro Suárez de Quiñones above an ancient fortress
Interestingly the two families were enemies.. Finally, the Quiñones family ended up owning the two.
Both towers can be seen from a nearby highway and I always had wanted to visit them
We had a great time visiting these places with our friends Enrique, Tere, César y Daniel.
