Let´s go west... No, I am not crazy .. we went west that day.
And also we visited the land of the "vaqueiros" (cowboys Asturias style) This is the "Braña del Campel" it is an interesting place. It is used for cattle and it is located between two towns, so both inhabitants share this place.. They can let there the cattle and travel home easily and come again often.. Is used mainly during spring and autumn so it is called an equinoctial braña
Next, we headed to Santa Comba
where we could admire a natural monument, a tree.. A Tejo (Taxus) it is a millenarian tree and a holy one
And after that, we left for Lago to find another Tejo. We did not know whether the road who connects both places was good but we tried and it turned out a fabulous one. You start high from the bare soil of the peaks and go down through thick forests to finally climb up again to the other peaks.
and there it was the Tejo de Lago another ancient inhabitant of these lands
If you were wondering, why this crazy guy told us they went to the west? .. here you have the answer ;)
Volvimos a casa muy contentos de haber conocido nuevos lugares.
We returned home very happy after having known new places
