MARZO 2021. 23,28/03/2021

 Aquí estamos de nuevo. Tras una larga pausa retomamos las crónicas con el objetivo de revivir y guardar los paseos que hemos ido haciendo en este 2021 tan extraño. En marzo rodamos con nuestro amigo Chusín que estrenaba su flamante Triumph. 

Here we are again. After a long break we are back with the aim of reliving and preserving the routes we have been doing in this strange 2021. In March we rode with our friend Chusín, who was debuting his brand new Triumph. 

Après une longue pause, nous sommes de retour avec l'objectif de revivre et de conserver les balades que nous avons faites dans cette étrange 2021. En mars, nous avons roulé avec notre ami Chusín, qui pilotait sa toute nouvelle Triumph pour la première fois. 

La playa de Cuevas de Mar nos pareció un buen lugar para pasear y ponernos al día con nuestro amigo.

The beach at Cuevas de Mar seemed like a good place to take a walk and catch up with our friend.

La plage de Cuevas de Mar semblait être un bon endroit pour se promener et rattraper avec notre ami.

Siempre es un placer compartir la ruta con buenos amigos. Esperamos que disfrute esta magnífica moto con salud.

El día 28 nos fuimos a uno de los miradores más espectaculares que conocemos. Amieva es un concejo que nos encanta.

 On the 28th we went to one of the most spectacular lookouts we know. Amieva is a council that we love.

 Le 28, nous nous sommes rendus à l'un des miradors les plus spectaculaires que nous connaissions. Amieva est un lieu que nous aimons.

Marzo fue el mes de los reencuentros y de camino a casa pudimos charlar con nuestro amigo Ignacio que estaba disfrutando de un día de montaña y moto.

March was the month of re-encounters and on the way home we were able to chat with our friend Ignacio who was enjoying a day of mountain and motorcycling.

Mars était le mois des retrouvailles et sur le chemin du retour, nous avons pu bavarder avec notre ami Ignacio qui profitait d'une journée de randonnée en montagne et à moto.

Hace algún tiempo publiqué sobre este lugar, pero en ese momento solo escribía en español y, por lo tanto, es posible que mis amigos de habla inglesa no lo conozcan. Déjame decirte dónde está la mejor y más exigente carretera de Asturias. Para llegar allí, por supuesto, tomamos un largo rodeo. Primero, parada en el mirador de El Fito.

Some time ago I posted about this place, but at that time I only wrote in Spanish and therefore my English speaking friends might not know about it. So let me tell you where the best and most demanding road in Asturias is.

To get there, of course, we took a long detour. First, we pulled out at El Fito lookout.

A continuación, y para hacer las cosas aún mejor, pasamos por Argolibio otra hermosa carretera que vale la pena visitar.

Next, and to make things even better, we passed trough Argolibio another beautiful road worth a visit.

Justo antes de comenzar la subida, un breve café junto a la carretera.

Just before starting climbing a brief coffee by the roadside.

Y allí nos fuimos ... Sé que el video es demasiado largo, pero no hay mejor manera de mostrarte lo impresionante que es.

CAPILLAS FRONTERIZAS 06/08/2017 BORDER CHAPELS

Cualquier excusa es buena para rodar

En este fresco día de agosto decidimos conectar cuatro capillas en la misma ruta.

In this cool August day, we decided to connect four chapels in the same route

Primero fuimos a Cirieño donde pudimos visitar la capilla de Santa Ana

First, we went to Cirieño where we could visit the Santa Ana Chapel

Un pequeño pueblo en un paisaje extraordinario

A small beautiful village in an outstanding scenery

Ahora es el momento de dirigirnos a la segunda

Now, time to heading towards the second one

La carretera es muy exigente pero increiblemente bonita

The road is very demanding but amazingly beautiful

Llegamos a Pen donde buscaremos otra capilla

We arrived at Pen where we will look for another chapel

La capilla de San Roque

En esta zona todos los pueblos están rodeados de fantásticos paisajes

In this area, every village is surrounded of gorgeous sceneries

Ahora cruzamos la frontera y entramos en la provincia vecina, León

Now we cross the border and enter the neighbouring province, León

En Oseja de Sajambre buscamos la tercera capilla

In Oseja de Sajambre we search for the third chapel

y la encontramos.. La capilla de San Roque.

And we found it.. The San Roque Chapel

Está en lo más alto del pueblo.. Desde allí podemos admirar todo el valle.

It is located on top of the village. From there we can admire the whole valley

Slow está disfrutando de su deporte favorito... atrapar el palo

Slow is enjoying his favourite sport.. catching the stick

Por último regresamos a Asturias para la última visita

Finally, we return to Asturias for the last visit

Incluso si no te gustan las capillas esta ruta será igualmente fantástica evitándolas.. las carreteras, los pueblos y los paisajes merecerán la pena.

Even if you don't like chapels, this route will be equally great avoiding them..the roads, the villages and the sceneries will worth it

Un soleado día de marzo es la ocasión perfecta para visitar uno de nuestros lugares favoritos.

A shiny day in March is the perfect ocasion to visit a place which is one of our favorites.

Nuestros compañeros Enrique, Tere y su hijo Kike nos acompañan.

Our fellows Enrique, Tere and their son Kike came with us.

Nos dirigimos a la pequeña aldea de Viboli.. pero nuestro mayor interés es la carretera en si misma

Our destination is a small village called Viboli..but our interest is the road itself

Una vez mi mujer la llamó "la mejor carretera de Asturias" y yo no puedo estar más de acuerdo.

Once my wife called it "the best road in Asturias" and I cannot agree more.

Es cierto que la carretera es estrecha y peligrosa pero a la vez es IMPRESIONANTE.

It is true that the road is narrow and dangerous but at the same time it is AMAZING

Finalmente llegamos a Viboli y nos fuimos de paseo.

Finally we arrived to Viboli and  we went for a stroll

El pueblo tiene la particularidad de albergar una clase de Horreo con un tejado poco usual de dos aguas.

The little village has a particularity and it is a kind of Horreo with a very unusual roof... normally this buildings created as crops holders, have a roof with four slopes of the pyramidal shape covered with tiles. These ones have only two.
