TARAMUNDI + SANTA EULALIA 20/10/2018

Quizá hayas pensado que había decidido dejar el blog. Lo siento, sólo era un descanso. El caso es que he estado muy ocupado con todo el trabajo relacionado con el MC Indianos. Pero tengo algunas excursiones que compartir contigo.

Poco después del Rally de Colombres Alejandra pensó que sería estupendo repetir una de las rutas del II Rally Norte de España que desafortunadamente no pudimos disfrutar del todo por el mal tiempo.

Hi there: You may have thought I had decided to stop doing the blog. Sorry, it was only a short break. The thing is that I have been very busy with all the work for the MC Indianos. But I have some excursions to share with you.

Soon after the Colombres Rally Alejandra thought it would be great to repeat one of the routes of the II North of Spain Rally that unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy fully due to the bad weather.

Así que alli nos fuimos en compañía de nuestro amigo Javi. Comimos bajo el sol y visitamos el complejo de Mazonovo. Un bien conservado grupo de molinos.

So there we went accompanied by our friend Javi. We had lunch in the sunshine and then we visited the Mazonovo complex. A well-preserved combination of water-mills.

Como nota negativa, no permiten perros así que hicimos lo que hacen los perros.. olimos, meamos y nos fuimos.

On the negative side, they don't allow dogs in so we did what dogs do.. we smelled, did a wee and left the place.

Desde allí nos dirigimos a Santa Eulalia difrutando de las preciosas carreteras de la zona.

From there we headed to Santa Eulalia enjoying the beautiful roads.

Y finalmente una bien merecida cena en Pilotuerto donde Slow es más que bienvenido.

And finally a well-deserved dinner at Pilotuerto where Slow is more than welcome.

PROBANDO LA MOTO 26,27/08/2017 TESTING THE BIKE

Tras una estancia de quince días en el garaje para una muy necesaria reparación la Honda se merecía un finde completo de rutas.

After a fifteen days long stay in the garage for a very needed repair the Honda deserved a full weekend of routes

El sábado nos acompañó nuestro amigo Miguel

On Saturday our friend Miguel came with us

Sandra quiso mostrarle dos de nuestros lugares favoritos. Primero nos fuimos a Santa Justa.

Sandra decided to show him two of our favourite places. First, we went to Santa Justa

Tras eso nos dirigimos a los acantilados de Cóbreces

And after that, we headed to the Cóbreces' cliffs

Allí admiramos el estupendo molino

There we admired the beautiful water mill

El domingo nos reunimos con nuestros amigos Polo, Enrique y Tere.

On Sunday we gather with our friends Polo, Enrique y Tere

Nos fuimos a Figueras

We set off to Figueras

donde pudimos dar un vistazo al palacio de Tremor

where we got a glimpse of the Tremor Palace

Después nos dirigimos a As Veigas, Taramundi.

After that, we left for As Veigas, Taramundi

Un curioso pueblo enteramente dedicado al turismo rural

An amazing little village entirely dedicated to rural tourism

Resumiendo 800 kilómetros para asegurarnos que la reparación fue correctamente efectuada.. y si, lo fue ;)

Summarizing, 800 kilometres to determine whether the repair was properly done.. and yes, it was ;)

CASCADA ARROYO DE LA SALGUEIRA 01/05/2017 SALGUEIRA CREEK'S FALL

La predicción para hoy es mala pero no tenemos muchas ocasiones de coincidir con nuestro amigo Chusín así pues desafiamos a la meteorología y nos fuimos de ruta. Por supuesto Tere y Enrique nos acompañan.

Today's forecast is not good but we don't have enough opportunities to gather with our friend Chusin therefore, we dare the weather and went out for a ride. Of course, Tere and Enrique came with us.

Alejandra encontró este lugar navegando por internet y pareciá el destino perfecto para la ruta de hoy

Alejandra found this place surfing the web and it looked like a perfect destination for today's route

Tras dejar las motos aparcadas en el único espacio disponible (un pequeño aparcamiento para un solo coche) comenzamos el paseo

After leaving the bikes parked in the only space available - a tiny parking for a single car- we began our stroll

Ascendimos por el sendero durante unos 15 minutos.

We climbed up the path for about 15 minutes

El arroyo tiene algo de agua quizá tengamos suerte, habíamos leído que la cascada no siempre está ahí

The creek has some water maybe we are going to be lucky, we had read that the fall is not always there

Vimos un viejo molino

We saw the rests of an ancient mill

Y finalmente alcanzamos destino

And finally, we reached our destination

No tenía mucha agua pero su gran tamaño nos sorprendió

It hadn't much water and yet its big size amazed us

Mereció la pena ;)

It was worth it ;)
