TERRITORIO MANDINGA. MADERUELO 02/05/2016

Saludos.
El último día del viaje. Lo que más me impresionó de esta zona fueron las heladas, que aún siendo mayo, se hacían notar. Por suerte, tras el amanecer la temperatura rápidamente subía hasta un nivel confortable para rodar.

The last day of our trip. The thing that impressed me the most was the freezing temperatures at this time of the year. Fortunately, only a few hour after sunrise the temperature is ok for ride

La primera visita del día es Maderuelo uno de los pueblos calificados como los más bonitos de España.

The first visit is Maderuelo. This village is listed as one of the most beautiful towns in Spain.

La villa está habitada desde el siglo X.. El acceso al lugar se efectua por la "Puerta de la Villa"

This old village has been inhabited since the X century.. The access to the place is through the "Village door"

Ha sido declarado "Bien de Interés Cultural"

It has been declared "Bien de Interés Cultural" (Cultural Interest Site)

Sólo unos pocos vehículos circulan en el interior del pueblo así pues el paseo es muy agradable.

Only a few cars are allowed to transit inside the village thus, the stroll is very pleasant

Todo el lugar está lleno de rincones hermosos

All the place is full of beautiful corners

Fue un gran comienzo.. pero el día es largo..

It was a very good beginning.. but the day is long.

TERRITORIO MANDINGA. RIAZA Y AYLLÓN 01/05/2016

Saludos:
Slow se ha puesto el casco lo cual significa que es hora de coger las motos de nuevo.

Hello:
Slow has put on his helmet, which means, it is time to ride again..

Paramos en Riaza donde pudimos visitar su peculiar plaza.. no hay mucho más para ver..

We stopped at Riaza where we were able to visit its peculiar square.. there is no much more to see

Así pues, compramos pan y nos fuimos a Ayllón

so we bought some bread and then, we left for Ayllón

En este pueblo podrás contemplar palacios, edificios civiles e iglesias..

In this city, you can admire palaces, civil buildings and churches

Estábamos disfrutando tanto del paseo que incluso nos atrevimos a subir la colina para ver más de cerca esta magnífica torre...

We were enjoying so much that we even went up to the hill to see more closely this wonderful tower

y también para conseguir una mejor vista de la iglesia

and also a better view of the church

Una buena cena en un parque local y nos volvimos al hotel.

A good dinner in a local park and went back to the hotel

Ha sido otro gran día.. y aún tenemos otro más ;)

It has been another great day.. and still we had one more ;)

TERRITORIO MANDINGA. MADRIGUERA Y MIRADOR PIEDRAS LLANAS 01/05/2016

Nuestra siguiente visita fue al hermoso pueblo de Madrigal. Este lugar está considerado el mejor representante de los Pueblos Rojos.

Hello:
The next place we visited was the beautiful town of Madrigal. This place is considered the most representative of the "Pueblos Rojos" (Red Villages)

Es un tranquilo lugar en el que sólo hay dos casas de turismo rural.

It is a quiet place with only two houses aimed to the tourism

El color rojo de la piedra se debe a las brechas ferruginosas que son abundantes en la zona.

The red colour of the stone is due to the ferruginous sandstone that is very abundant in the area

Todas las casas estan construidas de este material asi que todo el pueblo es rojo.. es simplemente precioso.

All the houses are built with this type of stone so the entire village is red... it is simply wonderful

Han hecho un gran esfuerzo de restauración que se aprecia facilmente en cada esquina

They have done a great effort in terms of conservation wich is easily seen in every corner

Disfrutamos mucho del paseo por el pueblo.

We had a good time walking through the village

A continuación nos fuimos a la Ermita de Hontanares.

Next, we left for the Ermita de Hontanares

Cerca de allí se encuentra un mirador con unas vistas geniales..

At a short distance, there is a lookout with amazing views of the area..

Se llama Mirador de Piedras Llanas y se encuentra a 1440 metros de altitud.. desde allí podrás ver los límites de cuatro provincias.

It is called Mirador de Piedras Llanas (1.440 m High)... from there, you will be able to see the borders of four provinces

Si tienes suficiente suerte podrás divisar el Moncayo en Soria 2314 metros de altitud

If you are lucky enough, you will see the Moncayo in Soria. 2314 m High.
