Con un tiempo glorioso, partimos para hacer una ruta de un día combinando algunos hermosos puertos de montaña de manera consecutiva. Aprovechamos la ruta para colocar algunos carteles del evento de Colombres en octubre. En definitiva, una jornada bien aprovechada.
With glorious weather, we parted for a day-long route combining some beautiful mountain passes in a row. We take advantage of the route to put up some posters of the Colombres event in October. All in all, a well enjoyed day out.
Avec un temps radieux, nous nous sommes partis pour un parcours d'une journée en enchaînant quelques beaux cols de montagne. Nous profitons de l'itinéraire pour poser quelques posters de la épreuve de Colombres en octobre. Au final, une journée bien agréable.

The always surprising Ventana mountain pass leads us to our neighbouring province, León.

There we went to one of our favourite lunch stops by the reservoir.
Allí fuimos a una de nuestras paradas favoritas para almorzar junto al embalse.
On the other reservoir shore, there is a small village we hadn't visit yet.

Mallo de Luna has a very small church, quite odd for its low height, with interesting markings on its lintel. Enough of a reason for us to visit it.

Returning home, a pause in an exceptional lookout to contemplate this part of the world.

At least once a year we like to go round the Picos Mountains. This is a fantastic route in which you will pass through three provinces, four mountain passes and two amazing gorges.
El tiempo acompañó y disfrutamos de nuestra comida en este lugar inmejorable. Como una amiga lo llamó un "banco de picnic con vistas";)
The weather was fantastic and we enjoyed our meal in this unbeatable spot. As a friend called it a "picnic bench with a view" ;)

Desde allí planeamos una fantástica combinación de carreteras, pero por desgracia, la lluvia vino para evitar que tomásemos más fotos. Finalmente fue un buen fin de semana con 750 km más en el marcador.
From there we planned a great combination of twisted roads but unfortunately, the rain came to prevent us from taking more photos. In the end, it was a good weekend with 750 km added to the clock.
