UNA BUENA FORMA DE VENDER UNA MOTO 18/08/2018 A GOOD WAY TO SELL A BIKE

Nuestro amigo Miguel planeaba vender su moto y me preguntó si le acompañaríamos a Ribadeo donde tenía un posible comprador. Nos reunimos en La Granda donde vimos medios de transporte alternativos.

Our friend Miguel was planning to sell his bike and he asked me to accompany him to Ribadeo where he had a possible buyer. We gathered at La Granda where we saw alternative transportation options.

Después de una amena charla con Miguel y Elisa nos dirigimos a Ribadeo.

After a bit of chat with Miguel and Elisa we headed to Ribadeo.

Mientras el trato tenía lugar, nos fuimos a tomar el café a un bar que tiene una bonita terraza con vistas a la Ría del Eo y al puente que une Asturias y Galicia.

While the deal was going on, we went for a coffee in a local bar which has a beautiful terrace overlooking the Eo river and the bridge which connects Asturias and Galicia.

Todo fue bien y la moto pronto estará con su nuevo propietario. Ahora es momento de comer en uno de nuestros rincones favoritos. Para llegar allí Miguel nos descubrió una fantástica carretera que no conocíamos.

All went well and the bike will be soon with his new owner. Time now to have lunch in one of our favourite spots. To get there Miguel showed us a beautiful road that we didn't know.

Desde allí me tocó dirigir y decidí recorrer una serie de carrreteras solitarias que son muy divertidas para las motos.

From there on I took the lead role and I went for a succession of lonely roads that are good fun for motorcyclists.

Visitamos la cascada y molino del Pimpano.

We paid a visit to the watermill and fall of Pimpano.

Y como se suele decir, "el tiempo vuela cuando lo estás pasando bien" y terminamos cenando en Pilotuerto donde siempre estamos encantados de ir.

As it is said, time flies when you are having fun and we ended up having dinner at Pilotuerto were we always are pleased to go.

AÚN SIGO AQUÍ 1/4/2018 I'M STILL HERE

No, no nos hemos muerto. No, no he decidido dejar el blog y tampoco he ganado la lotería y me he fugado al Caribe. Lo que pasa es que este invierno ha sido espantoso y no hemos rodado tanto como nos hubiese gustado.

No, I wasn't dead. No, I didn't decide to stop doing the blog nor I won the lottery and fled to a Caribean paradise. The thing is that this winter has been really awful and we haven't ridden as much as we would have liked.

Finalmente este domingo nos atrevimos a salir de ruta. Nuestro destino, Oneta.

Finally last Sunday we dare to go for a spin. Our destination was Oneta

Allí pudimos admirar su magnífica cascada. Tras tantos días de lluvia lucía estupenda.

There we could admire its magnificent waterfall. After so many rainy days it looked glorious.

La tarde fue calentando así que decidimos continuar rodando y así llegamos a Navelgas para tomar un café.

The afternoon turned warmer, therefore we decided to continue riding and thus we arrive at Navelgas for a nice coffee.

Desde allí disfrutamos de estupendas y secas carreteras en nuestro camino a Cornellana.

From there we enjoyed some nice, dry roads on our way to Cornellana

Condiciones perfectas para un paseo por el pueblo con visita a su monasterio.

Perfect conditions for a stroll through the village plus a visit to its monastery.

Admiramos con asombro estas piedras que han estado ahí por 1.000 años.

We admired in awe these stones that have stood there for 1.000 years

Hoy es Día de Pascua y la primavera timidamente nos sugiere su llegada.

Today is Easter Day and Spring is timidly showing that it is coming

Esperando más buen tiempo y nuevas rutas.

Hoping for more good weather and new routes.

PUENTE DE CASTRILLÓN + POZO MOURO 01/10/2017

Una vez más Alejandra pensó en un hermoso lugar. Nos acompañaron Enrique, Tere, Ignacio y Javi.

Once again Alejandra thought in a beautiful place to visit. Our friends Enrique, Tere, Ignacio and Javi came with us.

Nuestro destino es la preciosa área recreativa llamada Puente de Castrillón

Aquí comimos y disfrutamos la calma y belleza del lugar

Here we had lunch and enjoyed the calm and beauty of the spot

Era la primera vez que Slow visitaba el lugar y lo pasó genial.

It was the first time for Slow and he had a great time

El área estaba llena de cosas interesantes para él

The site had plenty of interesting things for him

Y nosotros disfrutamos de la cámara también

And we enjoyed with the camera as well

Ahora es momento de continuar con la diversión pero en moto.

Now it is time to continue with the fun but this time on the saddle
